FOR THE BUYER
Taking over an existing lease is a simple process that combines formal new car dealer leasing with traditional elements of private used car purchases. After a careful review of the inventory of the CARTAKEOVER network, new customers (buyers) choose the vehicles to purchase. Each car in the leaser’s gallery has a complete “Details” page that clearly records all the parameters and characteristics of the vehicle and lease details. The seller’s name and contact information can also be found on the Details page.
Credit check
The lease takeover transaction is entirely dependent on the lease company’s credit approval to the buyer (Credit Check) Both buyers and sellers must be fully aware that it is impossible to complete a lease takeover transaction without credit approval
If both the seller and the buyer are prepared to trade (with credit approval), they should enter into the lease transfer stage The next section provides an overview of the pre-delivery steps recommended by the leasing company as an essential part of the Car Lease. It is recommended that you use the lease transfer offer template provided by the CARTAKEOVER.
Test Drive
Before the transfer, ask the seller if they can conduct a test drive to ensure the status of the vehicle and see if there are any accident records, or scratches.
Cash Reward
Check with the seller and see if they offer a cash rebate/reward
Down Payment
Check with the seller whether you need to pay him a partial down payment or deposit to take over the car lease.

If you need to use back your existing license plate, let the dealer know about it and they will arrange accordingly
